MISSING: Danville Police Are Searching For At-Risk Teenager

UPDATE @ 10:37AM (PST): Thankfully Madeline Langill was just found safe and unharmed. She was found this morning at a Danville home and has since been returned to her family. Thanks for everyone's efforts in getting Madeline's information and photo out. 

DANVILLE, CA: Danville police are searching for a missing at-risk teenager. Madeline "Maddie" Langill was last seen by her family at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 when she left their Danville home.

Madeline, 15, is described as 5'5", 130 pounds with reddish brown hair and brown eyes. The San Ramon Valley High student was last sen wearing black skinny jeans and a black Nirvana tshirt. She may also be wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt.


Madeline is considered at-risk due to her state of mind at the time of her disappearance.

Officers have been urgently looking for Langill near the Sycamore Valley Road and Camino Tassajara neighborhood. Helicopters were deployed to try and find her from the air and canine units have searched on the ground. The Contra Costa Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team has been called in.
