Boston Police Search For 14 Year-Old Girl Missing Since October 2012

Boston Police are searching for a 14-year-old from Roslindale who has been missing from her 28A June St. home since October 2012, police said.

Jenny Nkwah, described as being 5 feet, 3 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair, has been reported missing in the past, but has returned to her home previously, police said.

Missing Juvenile: Jenny Nkwah
Name: Jenny Nkwah
Sex: Female
Age: 14
Race/Ethnicity: Black
Height: 5’3”
Weight: 140 lbs
Build: Medium
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black

“It looks like she’s more of a runaway … but that’s still considered a missing person,” police said on Monday. No Amber Alert has been issued.

Despite sporadic contact with her family, her current whereabouts remain unknown, police said. She has been seen in Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, and, most recently, Hyde Park, police said.

While it is unknown for sure, many aspects of Jenny's disappearance fit the profile of a teen groomed into human trafficking for Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC). Many groomed and trafficked victims are often classified as "runaways."

Anyone with information is advised to contact Detectives at District E-5 (West Roxbury/Roslindale) at 617-343-4595. Community members wishing to remain anonymous may do so by calling CrimeStoppers at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting the word “TIP” to CRIME (27463).
