You know....I am running across more "people" and I do use that word loosley, who are doing this and it sickens me and angers me. Families of the Missing are going through far too much already and then to have others come barging uninvited into their lives taking advantage of them by wearing the masque of assistance and friendship really burns me up. How dare they! How dare they!!!
Very recently I came across another one. This one had pretended to be a friend to the Missing families and befriended so many last year then abruptly left where they were volunteering. I discovered they are now creating sites at low cost and who are some of their clients? Families of the Missing! How interesting. Sites can be made very beautifully and For FREE and hosted for FREE on FREE Websites...They are very easy to create....
This is incredibly sad and upsetting that there are ones out there who continue to prey and use those who are already hurting and pretend to actually care about them....Beware of who you accept on your friend list.....
I do what I do b/c my child went missing when he was a toddler and he was recovered in less than 2 hours. He is 31 now and I have 3 beautiful grandchildren. This is what fires my passion for helping the Missing<3

These are things I've been doing for the past 9 yeras. Why I have been doing them from the begining, its because I love my children. This list is for those who find their children a neusance, or in the way of their life. Grow up and love your children. We should not have to tell you or remind you to love your children. When you love someone, you treasure them, want to protect them, want to help them learn, teach them how to be the best little human out there. Forget about yourself and quit screaming and yelling at them as if they should know how the world works. Kids want their parents attention, praises and love. Tons of it!!! Just do it all ready. Children should enjoy life, be care-free and happy. They shouldn't know sadness or even cry. Elmiminate that from their lives. Become a loving parent!!

I agree. But, kids think it's better out there than at home ?? Most kids, if not all, don't know what's waiting for them out there ? Home can look great real quick ? But, it might be too late to get there. I left home real early. I had the runaway number written in my bible since I was about 12 ?? Some homes are horrible ?? Add that with being a teen and the all pressures they go through ? I'd hate to be a teen in this day and age. I can't imagine ?? There is no way out for them ? Where can they go ? 18 seems a long way off when you're only 14 ?? These kids need a safe place to call ?? The don't need to go to kid's jail ?? Therapy usually sides with the parent. Social services makes it worse ? So, where do they go ?
I'm 46 now, and female. Thanks to God, my life has worked out well. I'm one of the lucky ones.
I know a few names of kids that were lost to trafficing...all in the 1970' and 80's. It has to worse now, I know. What is the solution for these kids ???

It is important that we do all we can to provide safety for our children. It is up to us as adults to teach children about safety. Doing Role plays and having safety drills is very important. We just can't assume our kid's know what is safe and not, it's up to us to be sure their lives are protected from those who seek to harm them.

yes, indeed, family vacation is one of the most challenging things for a family.
Me and the miss had zero experience in this type of stress, as we are used to chillin' all the time when on vacation.
Some things we learned on vacation with the kids is this - Make sure there is something for them to do every day that is interesting enough yet tireding enough and with a babysitter service.. seriously, or you might end up coming back from your vacation needing a vacation :)
